        Elba island

The largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago, Elba offers its visitors great natural beauty from the rocky interior that gradually gives way to shimmering coves around the shore. Here the sea is crystal clear and the many splendid beaches vary between sand and pebble. Nearly all the beaches have excellent facilities and water sports enthusiast are particularly well catered for.

        Hotels on Elba island

The resorts on Elba are quite small, picturesque and unspoilt, nightlife is very limited although there are plenty of trattorias and restaurants, open air cafes where you can enjoy the Elba wines.
You can reach the Island of Elba travelling by the regular ferry boats that leave from Piombino, with the possibility to sail with your car. The rate of the ferries varies according to the season and the passage lasts about 50 minutes, with the arrival on the island at Portoferraio, or Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina. You can also use the hydrofoils for the quick connections, that allow you to get in Portoferraio in 30 minutes.
